As part of our busy Service Desk team, Mike plays an integral role in supporting our customers’ day-to-day requirements.
Starting out in IT
I’ve always been interested in technology — it’s been a major influence in my life, so supporting other businesses with their IT needs was a natural fit for me. Since joining Bistech in 2017, I’ve completed many technical qualifications, as well as soft skills training, which has been useful both inside and out of work.

An evolving role…
Technical Support is the perfect learning ground for all things IT — we’re always working with new technologies and gaining valuable experience every day. And, because of the certifications I’ve already achieved, I’ve been able to take on more responsibilities and use my skills to help our customers, as well as the wider team.
A typical day?
There’s no such thing! The wide variety of requests that come into the service desk means no two days are the same. As a team, we have a thorough understanding of a range of products and applications, which makes working at Bistech different from other companies.
