Our accreditations, from a range of nationally and internationally recognised organisations, are an important part of our story.
Quality and Security
Bistech has complied with internationally recognised quality management system standards since 1991 and is certified to ISO 9001 for Quality Management, ISO 27001 for Information Security Management and BS 10012 for Data Protection.
With the many information security threats that face companies today, ISO 27001 provides Bistech customers with peace of mind that their managed voice and data network is totally secure. ISO 27001 is increasingly becoming a contractual prerequisite. Quality of service targets are monitored and audited to ensure our average incident rectification time is consistently less than 2 hours.
Certified to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
Bistech is certified to the very latest standard for the provision of voice & data network services; the supply, installation, commissioning and connection of telecommunications systems; and the maintenance and support of telecommunication systems.
On 6th November 2015, Bistech was the first in our sector in the UK to be BSI certified to the new 2015 standard - and fifth in the UK across all business sectors.
The standard was officially published on 30th September - so we are also among the first in the world to achieve this well respected certification.
Certified to ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems
ISO 27001 provides certification to a high level of security, together with the assurance of regular assessments of security processes and procedures. Increasingly specified as part of contractual agreements, ISO 27001 meets all the criteria most commonly required for Information Security compliance.
Regularly audited by BSI, Bistech consistently passes both quality and security standards with zero non-conformities.
Certified to BS 10012:2017 Data Protection
BS 10012 provides a best practice framework for a Personal Information Management System (PIMS) and outlines the core requirements that organisations need to consider when collecting, storing, processing, retaining or disposing of personal records related to individuals. The standard was revised in 2017 to address the practical implications of GDPR.
On 6th June 2018, Bistech was the first organisation to be issued Lloyd’s Register certification to this demanding new standard. This places Bistech amongst the first organisations in the world to be able to declare, and most importantly, demonstrate compliance with GDPR.
