Success to shout about.
We’re proud to sponsor two grad awards for final year students at Bournemouth University and we recently attended their ceremonies to present the winners with their well-deserved prizes.
Every year it’s a pleasure to see the impressive final projects from both the Business Studies and the Computing and Informatics Departments. Picking our favourites is never an easy task!

Bistech Award for Best Corporate Study
We’d like to congratulate this year’s winner, Emily McCarthy, for her dissertation addressing agile processes in project management — a really interesting corporate study that showcased Emily’s understanding and made a complex topic accessible and enjoyable to read.
We wish Emily all the best of luck in her graduate scheme and future career.
Best Final Year Project in Business Technology
Henry Sims won our award for Best Final Year Project in Business Technology with his project on the importance of empowering cyber security culture, which aligns with both our internal stance and the advice we give our customers. He also made a difference within the company he did his project for — showing a noticeable increase in cyber security awareness at the end of his study.
A huge congratulations to Henry for such an engaging piece of work, we wish you all the best in the future.
The high quality of all the shortlisted projects is a real testament to both the university and to each individual.
Well done to everyone graduating this year, we hope you’re feeling proud of everything you’ve achieved to date — we’re excited to see what the future will bring for you all!
