Bistech’s Big Winter Wander

Walking for wildlife at Moors Valley.

An eager group of Bistrekkers braved the wet and windy weather on Sunday 22nd February as part of WWF’s annual Big Winter Wander.

Undeterred by the elements, the team wrapped up and headed to Moors Valley Country Park for a sponsored 10K route that took them through woodland paths, lakeside trails and plenty of muddy puddles.

The event was a great chance to slow down, connect with nature and support an important cause.

WWF is at the heart of global efforts to address the world’s most important environmental challenges, from safeguarding the natural world to tackling climate change and enabling people to use only their fair share of natural resources.

In recognition of the team’s efforts, the Bistech Community Fund donated over £1000 to WWF.
