Christmas at Bistech 2025 | Bistech

The season of giving

This December, festive spirit and generosity filled the office as we celebrated together and supported two important causes.

Christmas Jumper Day

On Thursday 11th December, we joined Save the Children’s annual Christmas Jumper Day, showcasing some truly standout seasonal style.

To make the day even more meaningful, the Bistech Community Fund donated on behalf of everyone who took part, helping children in the UK and around the world stay safe, healthy and learning.

And, true to tradition, we added a little friendly competition:

  • Adam Pretty – Most Creative
Adam’s jumper ticked all the Bistech boxes to win ‘Most Creative’. Not only was it sustainably made, it also featured our logo crafted from tinsel. Sustainable, festive and unmistakably Bistech!
  • Jenni Telling – Most Fun
Jenni’s jumper won ‘Most Fun’ for its playful design, featuring all the trimmings of a great Christmas knit – cats, candy canes, pizza and more!
  • Tim Griffiths – Most Dedicated
Tim claimed ‘Most Dedicated’ by going all-in on the festive theme, complete with a sprayed white beard and classic red jumper (resembling Santa Claus himself!)

Thank you to everyone who joined in and helped make the day a success.

Secret Santa and festive bakes

Our Secret Santa gift exchange was a real highlight, with fun, thoughtful and tasty surprises shared among the team.

And no Christmas is complete without a spread of sweet treats! Thanks to Julie’s incredible baking skills, spirits stayed high and stomachs were full (with lots of lemon drizzle cake!)

Supporting our local foodbank

Alongside the festive fun, we focused on giving back to our local community. Thanks to the generosity of our team, the People and Culture team delivered four full boxes of food and household items to The Centre, Ferndown.

These donations will help families in need just in time for Christmas. It’s a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together, and a sobering sign of the growing demand on foodbanks across the UK.

Initiatives like these reflect what makes Bistech special: a collaborative culture where people care about each other and the wider community – every day, not just at Christmas.
