Bistech Graduate Award Winners 2023 

Rewarding achievement. 

A highlight in our calendar every year, we recently headed to the Bournemouth International Centre to celebrate a new cohort of talented students graduating from Bournemouth University (BU).  

We’re always excited to see the outstanding final projects coming from BU. And this year was no exception, we were blown away by the shortlisted selection from both Computing and Business students. So, let’s take a look at our winners… 

Bistech Award for Best Corporate Study  

Our 2023 winner for Best Corporate Study is Louis Rehman with his dissertation on ‘Agglomeration Dynamics on Location Decisions of Entrepreneurial Start-ups’. Louis’ project was well written with a sense of enthusiasm and depth of research and analysis — it’s clear he is passionate about the subject! An excellent conclusion of well-considered arguments makes Louis’ piece of work something to be proud of.  

Best Final Year Project in Business Technology  

This year’s award for Best Final Year Project in Business Technology went to Jack Holden for his dissertation on ‘Identity Management: User Identity Authentication & Privacy in a Modern World’. Jack’s project was thought-provoking, thoroughly researched and delivered an excellent proof of concept. 

We enjoyed cheering along with all the family and friends who came along to celebrate this year’s graduates as they crossed the stage — it’s such a fantastic achievement. Congratulations class of 2023!
