A return to careers fairs

Kickstarting careers in tech.

After a three-year hiatus, we were excited to see so many students join us once again at Bournemouth University’s Careers Fair, Queen Elizabeth’s School Careers & Apprenticeship Fair and Bournemouth & Poole College’s Festival of Employability.

From soon-to-be graduates to those just finishing off their last exams in sixth form or college, it was great to hear how many students were already considering their next steps into the world of work, and gain insights into how their knowledge could be used to help build the technology of tomorrow. We talked with students completing courses in a range of subject areas including Business, Software Development, Computing and many more.

We recognise that it’s not just your subject of choice or your overall results that will help you develop your career, but the transferable skills that previous work experience, university and placement years can provide along the way.
